Mishal was a very significant part of our lives. She was our family. This website is our way of honoring her life.

Mishal was an affectionate person and precious daughter to Ramesh and Saroj Patel, as well as a caring older sister to Nikita and Naman. She was born on the 20th of June 1988.

Being versatile came to her naturally which helped a great deal as she went to three different schools. The Antwerp British School at first, then ‘Onze Lieve Vrouw College’ where she studied in fluent Flemish at ease. And finally she entered The Antwerp International School in eighth grade where she graduated this year, 2006, with the esteemed citizenship award.

Mishal participated actively in and outside school. She was a brilliant student in the arts, which was portrayed to us through her higher level art exhibition in twelfth grade, her involvement in various talent shows in contemporary and traditional dancing, and her contribution to the speech and debate team, amongst many others.

We will always remember her obsession with Spongebob Squarepants, her compulsive hair straightening, her enormous dvd collection and passion for bollywood, her sweet smile, her contagious laughter and her eagerness to always lend a helping hand.

We will always remember her as our Mishal, our friend, our sister who was always there for us in each and every way. We will miss you...
